I am Mr. X, or Jeff, the curator and creator of the material on this page.
I am a bassist from way back.
I played as a professional for about 10 years in various acts, playing various styles, in various bars around the Midwestern U.S.
I have not played out for about 12 years, but I have been known to showcase my living room from time to time!!
Now, the fire has flared up once again and has propelled me to start writing and playing music once more.
I am currently merely a band of one, but wearing many hats!!
I play all the instruments and sing all vocals, except for the drums and other parts as noted.
I used Session virtual studio software for multi-track recording and for the drum lines. There are thousands of samples and rhythm tracks and sonic enhancements(reverb, delay, compression, etc.) available and I highly recommend this software to anyone wanting to write and record music without the expense of paying for studio time and musicians. You can get it with an M-Audio Keystation keyboard. I got mine with a Keystation 49e for about $80 US.
So, anyway, that’s my story. Just a guy trying to make some music the simplest and most inexpensive way possible.
I will answer any questions, consider any offers for anything not immoral or illegal and am always looking to add new friends and gain new "fans".

I'm not a drummer, but this video is truly inspiring!! Too bad you just can't find players with these qualities these days! I saw Ed do a clinic when I was in high school and it was definitely inspiring!
