Oral Asphyxiation

We are Oral Asphyxiation...our band name doesnt mean what alot of people seem to think it means when they 1st hear it.
It means that we feel suffocated by the media and the goverment..we are told what to think, told what to like, told how to look and we are completly sick of it...its all being shoved down our throats and it makes us completly sick (oraly asphyxiated) and we aint takin it anymore its time for us to make a stand.
We are a 3 piece from sunny old Stoke-on-Trent, we all met individually so we all knew each other in one way or another. We finally met up for our first practise in Feburary of 2007, got a number of songs sorted, recorded a demo CD (ask us for one if you want one) and started gigin in May 2007! We would say our lyrics are anarcho and political....we also write about society as we know it and live with it first hand in stoke!
We belive in freedom for all and individuality for all, you can look however you wanna look. We do not agree with punks who say you are not punk if you dont have a mohawk and leather jacket.....PUNK IS FREEDOM...so im sorry but if you impose them views on people then you nothing but a fascist and are destroying to our scene! Be free you can listen to what you want and look how you want..punk is whats goin on in the inside!
