the first line up of bastards was made up of deefekt-drums(kismet hc, stoke-on-trent) big un-guitar(friends of ken, stoke-on-trent) pat-bass(ex eggraid) and steve-vox(ex wounded moose, watford).
we played a show at the talbot hotel in stoke supporting the foamers and senseless. 4 practise's later we played a punk alldayer in stoke and released our only recorded material so far- natural e.p. the songs on this are the first written songs for bastards. we supported discharge at the sugarmill dec 2002 but pat bastard missed the discharge set after being arrested!!!!(boo hoo!)
after a break from it all deefekt left drumming duties to get kismet hc back on track. (which they have and please check em out in our friends-awesome)
another long break followed before muff(ex dead set against and currently of rise to thunder)took over as drummer, more shows followed with some new songs and we supported zounds in stoke that year. big un then left to concentrate on friends of ken as things are looking very promising for them. pat bastard moved on to take over controls on the guitar(bloody bass players playing guitar! tttttt). we then recruted a very good bass player to fill the gap- ki bastard. with time and noise gettin tighter and some fuckin nasty new tunes we are back for a long while.
As you may have noticed (or not) we've been going a hell of a long time and have never recorded in the studio!! WELL WATCH THIS SPACE!! The first 3 tunes on here awere recorded at practice 26th may 2007 so you can here what we are up to at the moment.
