The OBATALA project aims to be a musical confrontation,, a symbiosis between different angles, styles and cultures: a musical play on stage in which improvisation and sound, but most important story telling power are playing the leading role, mostly discovering Afro Cuban music and the African song.Obatala has evolved into a very strong accompanying band with an own story to tell. As from November 2006 Obatala gets prepared for a new project with invités in 2008. Be most wellcome at the www.trixonline.be in Antwerp. Obatala will hold monthly rehearsals.
