Scandinavian Strings is currently working on their dream project of making an album together with some of the finest musicians in Sweden and in the US. Each song or piece comes from a different genre and is specially arranged for Scandinavian Strings and the featured artist or group:

Scandinavian Strings is a unique string ensemble with a wide and varied repertoire. The group consists of 21 violinists aged 10 and 20 and was founded in 1995 by their violin teacher Eva Bogren. On the recording of Czardas by Monti, all of Scandinavian Strings plays the solopart accompanied by the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra under their Principal Conductor Mario Venzago.
Many of the talented youths have played the violin since they were 4 years of age and have performed numerous times on television and stages all over the world. Their musical repertiore, performed at a very high musical level, varies from classical pieces by Bach to modern entertainment music. Having won both the Swedish Champion Competition in Ensemble Playing and the Swedish National Federation of Young Musicians Contest In Ensemble Playing, Scandinavian Strings is regarded as one of the best string ensembles of its kind in Sweden.
Their success has lead to tours within Sweden, to Norway, Denmark, Alandia, the Czeck Republic, Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Malta, China, Croatia and Italy. The group has performed with international artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Melanie C, Bosson, Cascada, Johnny Logan, Sissel Kyrkjebø, RyanDan, Katie Melua, Mando Diao and Sarah Chang and with Swedish artists such as The Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Janne Schaffer, Helen Sjöholm, Peter Jöback, Carola, Stephen Simmonds, Charlotte Perrelli, Robert Wells, Linda Bengtzing, Jan Johansen, Shirley Clamp, Cue (Niklas Hjulström), Amy Diamond, Niklas Andersson, Pernilla Wahlgren, Benjamin Wahlgren, Magnus Bäcklund, Jessica Andersson, Lasse Kronér, Lotta Engberg, Björn J:son Lindh, Sanna Nielsen, Lasse Holm, Elisabeth Andreassen, Magnus Johansson, Åsa Fång, Triple & Touch, Jenny Berggren, Stefan Andersson, Sofia Källgren, Per-Erik Hallin, Pernilla Emme, Lars Berghagen, Caroline Wennergren, Thomas Petersson, Stefan Blomquist, Lill-Babs, Blacknuss, Anna Stadling & Idde Schultz, Charlie Norman, Loa Falkman, Cyndie Peters, Frank Ådahl, Lena Willemark, Laudaensemblen, Bhean Bheag, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and more. In 2003, Scandinavian Strings was asked to hold the opening concert for the ESTA, European String Teachers Association, European Congress at the Conservatoire de Paris. Shortly thereafter the group recorded their sixth CD "Memories of Paris". Again in 2005 the group was invited to give a concert at the ESTA European Congress in Malta.
