Hello, I am new to My Space. My awesome new friends Kelli and Loraine put it together for me last month. I’ve been a professional Actor/Musician since 1983 and I have appeared in numerous musical/stage/acting productions. I make my living primarily as a Musician (Guitar) and as an occasional actor. Though I’m fairly good at it and I make a decent living with it, I don’t really like show business. I spend most of my free time in Montana with my family. After 8 years of courtship with my gal, we got married last year. I have a 7 year old son Alex who is my best friend. Though I do many things, this page is set up for my Johnny Depp Impersonation work, which I started doing professionally in January of this year. I’ve heard the resemblance remarks to JD since 1985. I guess It chose me as opposed to me choosing it. My goal is to eventually get work doubling for JD. It can be a tough job sometimes as the actor I portray is such an icon. Its often un-nerving as people go crazy because they often think I am HIM. Of course, there is only one JD. I’m not trying to be him and I dont think I’m him, so you haters can go home. Its just an acting job. I just happen to resemble this famous actor so I recently joined the celebrity impersonators family. It can be a fun job sometimes. The best thing I like about it is that it makes kids happy. Children go nuts for JD and his characters. I also do a lot of charity work with it. When you give, you always get back. Award winning actor, musician and celebrity impersonator Daniel Steven Lopez began his show business career at the age of 7 when he appeared in his first television commercial. A veteran of over five hundred musical productions, stage plays, TV shows and films, Danny has established a solid reputation in the world of entertainment. A member of the Actors Equity, AFTRA and the Screen Actors Guild since 1983, Daniel is also renowned in the impersonation tribute band business. Danny is the star, founder and creator of several classic rock and roll tribute bands where he performs as legends George Harrison, Davy Jones and Keith Richards.
A life long Actor, Danny began his Impersonation career in 1983 at the young age of 19 by performing as a featured member in the Las Vegas extravaganza, Legends in Concert. Danny has performed in 48 States and on four continents as an actor, tribute artist and impersonator. Danny has also worked with Director Steven Soderbergh among others. Dannys work has been featured in the LA Times, USA today, VHI, MTV, E! channel, CNN, the Chicago Tribune, the NY Times and Entertainment Weekly.
Danny’s latest venture in the arts is an accurate, dead-on impersonation to what many call the world’s greatest actor, Johnny Depp. Danny’s eerie resemblance to Johnny Depp is uncanny and he is frequently mistaken for Johnny Depp on the street." I’ve always been told that I look like Depp,” states Danny. "it’s a wonderful challenge to impersonate him and recreate some of his greatest movie characters for his millions of fans.”
Danny not only appears at events as Johnny Depp impersonator but he can also re-create Depp’s most famous movie characters: Captain Jack, Willy Wonka, Edward Scissorhands, etc with accurate precision. With Danny’s spot on look to Johnny and thousands of dollars in costumes, props and wardrobe, Danny’s tribute to Johnny Depp has no equal. Entertainment Weekly reported that Danny is “an actor with incredible range.“
Danny is a recent winner of an IGCITA Cloney award for his impersonation work and legendary actor Christopher Lee (Johnny’s co-star in four films) called Danny “a dead ringer” for Depp. In a bit of irony, Danny also shares the same birthdate as Johnny Depp. All movie fans from ages 5 to 95 love Johnny Depp. This is a phenomenal tribute to Johnny Depp that you don’t want to miss!
