HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About Me

Many of you know me as your next-door neighbour, the one that mostly keeps to itself and takes good care of its yard. I'm a friendly country that likes music, movies, and beer. Also, I like to skate around on the ice and knock other people down.

My Interests

Hockey, curling, figure skating... pretty much anything involving ice. Beer. Pancakes. Sending my citizens down to America, and having them pretend that they are ACTUAL Americans, with no one but us the wiser. Heh heh heh. Did I mention hockey? I also make good slurpees, produce lots of oil, and send Christmas trees to every corner of the earth.

I'd like to meet:

Americans with spending money. Movie companies that want to film in Seattle but at a much lower cost. People who watch hockey. Anyone who won't bitch and moan about the cold. Bring a jacket next time, OK?

Music:

Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Celine Dion, Barenaked Ladies, Bryan Adams, Sarah McLachlan, Nelly, Shania Twain, Sum 41

Movies:

Slapshot. Youngblood. The Mighty Ducks. Hockey Night. The Cutting Edge. Sudden Death. Strange Brew. The Matrix (starring Keanu Reeves- Canadian!) Any movies with Jim Carey and/or Natasha Henstridge and/or Mike Myers.

Television:

Hockey Night in Canada. The X-Files, before it moved filming down to California. Cheap-y syndicated shows. Hockey. Re-runs of SCTV. Re-runs of old hockey games. The Winter Olympics. Sometimes, even Global.

Books:

Lonely Planet Canada; Let's Go Canada; Frommer's Canada 2004; The Illustrated History of Canada

Heroes:

Mike Myers; Conan O'Brien; Canadian Mounties.
