Hi, thank you for visiting our new myspace!
We´ve finally got things up n running with a few songs and some pictures. So here´s a little about us..
Quarterhorse started back in 2001 or 2002 we´re not quite shure of when, with a mission to play alternative country, we mainly started with all ballads. But after +80 shows since the start the music has changed, you could say that we have grown into the type of music we play today and the music never stops changing. The more recent stuff (not featured here) has a soul rock vibe to it but still with a touch of the singer/songwriter stuff we did before.
Our first full-length album release was called "It´s Nothing", released in 2004 the title reffered to a riddle hidden inside the album sleeve. The record was a mixed success. We sold about 1000 copies of the album, and thats pretty good considering we basicly only sold it at our shows and local recordstores i Gothenburg. But now we´re aiming bigger...
About fifty songs or so has been written since, some have been recorded, some are waiting to be recorded, some are in the process of being written and some are just not that good;) but hopefully we´ll manage to finish this record during 2007.
This myspace site is the place where you will hear our sketches, ideas for songs and singels before our next album release so stay tuned for more music.
