Full of creativity and from different musical backgrounds mist started forming the band in a late summers day in Gothenburg, Sweden, 2002. The open-planned house became their base with the well-visited and much-loved living room as the perfect rehearsal studio - where many late nights and early mornings were spent and songs were written.
With the lead vocalist Martha Brauer, Therese Lindström on bass, Ida Gillner on guitar and Sara Tidholm on drums they have now been playing all over Sweden and have so far been in the studio recording three times. At Grand Recordings in 2003, Peekaboo Studios in 2004 and at Recordia Studio in 2005.
After a quiet year in London and some time apart they are now back as a band and will once again be producing their characteristic guitar-driven pop with a strong sense of vocals, as well as they hopefully will be gigging in the near future.
So keep your ear to the ground and look out for mist!
