About Me

Welcome to the year of 2007 Shells.
The story goes like this: About three years ago there were two Shells. One with a guitar and one with a bass. They had two voices and access to a small studio. With just some basic knowledge of how it all worked these two Shells recorded five songs. One was a cover that ended up the Bear Quartet-tribute compilation called "Money Talks". Four other original songs written by r.shell and arranged by r.shell and d.shell. They were recorded, forgotten, found, burned, listened to, forgotten, lost, found and then uploaded. And now, three of the original songs and the cover can be listened to on this wonderful dark space.
Since then the future has arrived and the Shells have become three. The bass player from before has gripped a guitar and now serves as the link between the past and the present. There's still only two voices - but a couple of more voices in the heads of the owners of the instruments.
In 2007 the idea that has become the Livingroom Sessions unfolded. The result can be found below in the form of lo-fi videos from these sessions. More of these will come, all over Sweden and all over the World. Stay tuned for more regarding that...
New songs are beginning to take form, but there's still a long way to go. New covers have reached the surface as well. But in the meantime our dear friend, listen to the songs at this dark space, or check out the videos - maybe you'll find some clues of new songs there.
And if you feel anything, write us a comment.
It's the year of 2007 Shells and you're welcome to join!
