Zero Soul

Zer0:s0uL Biography.
Zero Soul started a little over 18 months ago and is the brainchild of talented producer/musician Sean Brown and songwriter/musician/student sound engineer Pawl. Sean and Pawl had worked together in the past on another local hard rock/ heavy metal act called Scar’child. The original idea behind the project came from Pawls experimentation with electronica, and wanting to marry that to rock and heavy metal. Early unreleased material is entirely electronic in nature, some of which may still be reworked and released. Most will lay buried under the foundation of now what is Zer0:s0uL. Zer0:s0uL was formerly named boneTREE.
After working on some preliminary material, the two found a third member in Harmonie Harris. Harmonie is a talented local singer who has worked on her solo material for a number of years. She contacted the band through their myspace page and the ball began rolling from there. Harmonies vocals complimented the material from the first day and things have solidified since then.
Zero Soul are predominantly a studio outfit at the moment but as the repertoire of material grows, so does the urge to get out on the live circuit and show off the wares.
Stylistically, Zero Soul can be described as a marriage of elecrtonica and heavy rock, something that all of the members are keen to push to its very limits and experiment with accepted ideas of what music is and should be. What does the future hold for Zero Soul? Who knows other than a bright future and the certainty of live shows in the coming months.
