Hi I'm SPANK'D and i love to spank people hard with some WONKY, ACID DIRTY FILTHY MUSIC...
SPANK'D is a monthly event taking place on the 1st Friday of every month. The night is run by Birmingham's own and best DJ's Micky Slim and Alex Schmitz.
The launch night on the 9th March saw Micky & Alex team up with Godskitchen and Dex in the City's favourite fellow Brummie Paul Thomas. Joining and headlining the bill was ClubClass and Saved Records Super Legend Nic Fanciulli!
Alex Schmitz kicked off the night and got everone in the mood with some crunkin jackin beats that would turn your granny's hair blue. around 1am Paul Thomas came on the wheels of steel and introduced a splash of techno to add to the acid jackin house that was already been churned out.
The main set arrived with Nic Fanciulli spoiling us with his unique array of tech house sound, the crowd were loving what they were hearing and the tension was building for an almighty finalé with the one and only...
...Micky Slim! Slim graced the overhanging DJ boothe with that almighty presence only he has in these parts, and proceeded to delight the dancefloor all the way through until gone 6am with his very own smackin, jackin, crunk, techno, acid, wonky, filth, dirty eletronic house music!!!
