..UPCOMING ANR EVENTS---ANR HISTORY------------------------ Founded in 2004 by Mark Howitt, Archaic North Entertainment started out in hopes to become an established record label in the Canadian metal scene. Having been more focused on promoting shows in the Northern Ontario area since the beginning, it wasnt until 2007 that it had released its first album, Canadian Black Metal gods WOLVEN ANCESTRY'S masterpiece debut album 'The Wrath of Gaia'. A second offering, DARKBLOOD's debut A Sorrow Not Felt in years covers a more dark suicide ambience sound.Archaic North has evolved over the years, and is now also dedicated to booking tours for bands, mainly in the Northern Ontario region but also North American tours of the US and Canada. The annual SUDBURY METAL FEAST is promoted and run by Archaic North. We also do graphic design work for bands at good rates, Music Production and Recording, and much more. ANE has been doing shows in Sudbury for 7 years and counting, as well as helping bands get shows in other towns.
