I've seen the old Native American towns and flea markets of Albuquerque; the skyscrapers, bustling streets and above ground rails of Chicago; the street artists, cajun-cookin diners and coffee bars of New Orleans; the beautiful CNN Center and green parks of Atlanta; the historic massive monuments of D.C.; the beautiful, green rolling farmlands of Pennsylvania; the crab cakes of Baltimore, MD; the beautiful and historic state of Virginia; the sunny second-paradise of the great state of California; the inspiring Rockys and the beautiful people of Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland, Niwot, COLORADO; and, of course, my HAWAII, the most gorgeous place on earth... Being an artist and musician (not as expertly though as many of you here), i guess the main reason that I am here is to build a network of fellow artists and musicians. The word "artist" though is such a broad term. Most of us think of an artist as a painter, or someone who sketches, but most of us know that it is much more than that. For example, if a person looks at a leaf floating from a tree, being carried by a cool spring time breeze and that person finds peace or happiness in viewing just that one simple thing, and is able to express that feeling they got from the leaf to someone else, then in my opinion that person is truly an artist. Peace, Aloha and much love to you all...Composing/Listening to Music, Painting, Short Story Writing, Poetry, etc. Fav Artists - Dali, Warhol, Basquiat, Bosch, Lichtenstein, Frida Kahlo, Rosenquist, Rauschenburg, Rousseau, DeChirico, Delvaux, etc.If you paint then keep ..ing, if you dance then keep on dancing, if you tag then keep on tagging, if you write poetry then keep on writing it, if you draw then keep on drawing, if you sculpt then keep on sculpting, if you choreograph then keep on doing it, if you write short stories then keep on writing those, if you play music then keep on playing, if you sing then keep on singing, if you play drums then keep on playing drums, if you play keyboards then keep on playing key boards, if you write songs then keep on writing songs, if you do collages then keep on doing collages, if you sketch then keep on sketching, if you photograph then keep on photographing, if you silkscreen then keep on silkscreening, etc. etc. etc.... keep on doing what you do artistically, try new things, ALWAYZ LEARN COZ LEARNING NEVER STOPS (ONCE YOU THINK YOU'VE LEARNED EVERYTHING THERE WILL BE SOMETHING ELSE YOU'LL NEED TO LEARN), but keep doing what you do. If it's a positive thing then you will never go wrong.
