TazzKeyz was born and raised in Jamaica and followed his heart to Arizona by way of Saint Louis. New to the valley he has joined forces with King Roach and the Mighty 602 band, playing for local artist Casper, Aniana, Tony Culture and Philly Blunt; as well as visiting artist from around the world. Tazzkeyz stays busy building rhythms when he isn’t on the road.
TazzKeyz got his start working in the music industry in Jamaica. His first big break was touring in the Caribbean with various dancehall and roots rock reggae artists. These first gigs ultimately earned TazzKeyz a positive reputation and additional gigs working with dancehall reggae sensations T.O.K. and Wayne Marshall, and legends John Holt, Maxi Priest, Tony Rebel, Culture and Jimmy Cliff. His love for music has taken TazzKeyz all over the world.
TazzKeyz pulls his inspiration from the likes of Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Santana and Herbie Hancock. His appreciation for the magical and inspirational work of these artists is what keeps TazzKeyz motivated to continue his work in spreading the love of music. TazzKeyz remains both grounded and focused, always finding time to work on the basics and constantly searching for new music and techniques to improve his talent.
Blessing also to Blaze Band and Yard Squad, two groups of great people who saw something in TazzKeyz and gave him a chance.
