Band Members: Kent Eastwood - piano, vocals
Mal "Mr Friday Night" Page - drums
"The Reverend" Tom Tilley - bass
Influences: as far as piano players go I'd have to say:
Don Walker (from Cold Chisel), Paul Grabowski, Keith Jarret...
regarding music:
singers:
bono, bobby mcferrin, billy holiday, janis joplin...
(they all make you wanna sing like there's no tommorrow...)
I think there are moments I remember distinctly that had a profound impact on me musically in a similar way to how people refer to great moments in history...
an example might be:
the first time I heard hans zimmer's "power of one" soundtrack,
the first time I heard kind of blue,
every time I hear bobby mcferrin do anything,
the first time I heard the Koln concert on vinyl,
hearing my nephew play random notes on the piano when he was 2,
driving across the story bridge listening to bernards first solo record,
driving across sydney harbour bridge listening to run dmc...
the list goes on...
Sounds Like: the music is constantly changing and developing however in the past has been likened to: ben folds and the whitlams, more recently a travelling journo penned the quote "you sound like the Australian David Gray"
