About Me

David Allan Rivera Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. At an early age went to live in New York and Connecticut where I had the opportunity to share the stage with excellent musicians of different cultural backgrounds. I was extremely influenced by the Blues, R&B, Rap, Funk, Latin music, Jazz and Rock. In the year 2000 I moved to Puerto Rico to grasp and understand from the masters my latin musical roots and fuse the latin music with my knowledge of the Blues, R&B, Soul, Funk, Rap, Jazz and Rock.I had the privilege to study with some professional outstanding musicians who have travelled all over the world playing. They are Alfredo Rodriguez-master conguero, Raul Rodriguez-percussionist, Felix Ventura-Master conguero, Miguel Fuentes-drummer and percussionist, Victor Campbell-Drummer and Percussionist. And, recently, with Efrain Toro- drummer, perussionist and educator.Based on all of the above, David Allan Rivera is born.

I'm open mind it about music.... Latin Jazz, Yoruba, Salsa,,,, Pop..... everything that comes from the Heart........Many, Many More........
