Influences: Born in Milwaukee Wi. music became part of his upbringing from an early age of 6.After many years of discovering and playing the drums on August,1984,Victor,achieved a bachelor,s degree in music performance from the Wisconsin Conservatory of music.Dedicated to his instrument and due to his great talent,he received few awards in drumming competitions:like in 1993 and 1995 the "solo drummers first place award",followed by the "outstanding combo and big band drummer award"at the Govern state university in 1976&1977.He had the privilege to be a student of great drummers &percussionists like Roy Haynes,Alan Dawson,Manty Ellis,Chief Bey,Giovanni Hidalgo,Famoudou Konate,Elvin Jones, Carl Allen just to a few.All these different influences have been raw matieral for Victorwhom has made an outstanding career as a professional drummer &percussionist,giving birth to a unique style full of power,energy and freedom.From 1980 to 2003 he was part of the Ko-Thi dance company,where he gave life to the African drums and showed his amazing versatile skills and intense spirit.Through his career,he,s performed with artists like Frank Morgan,Von Freeman,Bobby Broom,Melvin Rhyne,Richard Davis,Brian Lynch,Charles Davis,Willie Pickens,Ronnie Mathews,Ron Blake,Wes Anderson,Roberto Vizcaino Guillot,M,Bemba,Famoudou Konate,Chief Bey,Delfyo marsalis,Nicolis Payton,Petio Rodriguez,The Drifters,The Coasters&The Platters and many more.He,s performed for theater shows like The lion king,Aint Misbehaving,All that jazz,Ice Jammin,Country,Hollywood,Broadway and Rock & Roll.
