About Me

Deeply into all sorts of music. From mid 80's deejaying, singing, writing lyrics and went many directions: Jamming with Hans Dulver (Paradiso Amsterdam), Performing as 'Treetop Unit' (support De La Soul in NL), released album & 12 inch with as 'King Bee' with Allstarfresh - Rudeboy (Urban Dance Squad) + Kool Keith (Ultramagnetic mc's). From early 90-s into Madchester, Rave & Breakbeat. Partcipated in various jam-bands. From mid 90s I live thrue music in all its forms.
Gig-markpoints were Mindseye Squadparties - Ben's Forrest Parties, Reggae-Sundance, Artbag Brussels & sets with live-drums on various cultural events. Hosted "Funkafied" breathing the kaleidoscopic early 70's funkrock atmosphere. Spinned ethnogrooves on Folkfestival Dranouter summer '06 and on some really nice dutch Goa events (Nexus, Zirk, 4X4, Empathy, Namasté Arc of Goa, Spiral Sessions). Also resident of HBR1-Radio Germany.Nowadays into a wide-range of genres with roots and culture: downtempo meditation whirles to shiny global grooves, stoner-rock to electro-punk, fluffy dreamscapes to banging layered hypnotisement.
All styles of music have light & dark sides... but most of all: everything inbetween. and there's always more...

Sounds Like: Computers and electronic music are not the opposite of the warm human music. It's exactly the same. Electronic music can't exist without human thought. Everything that is generated is a thought, and energy follows thought. Everything is electric, everything is electricity. Those pulses are no different that your pulse, your heartbeat and how you breathe. It's all connected.- Bill Laswell
