Mick Nye pieces are usually pretty intense, but even though they can be very dense, they give a magic or ecstatic feeling. The samples here are from new songs, being put online in various arrangements as they get invented.
The music is composed (scored), not sampled, and we aim at live performance with a base of 5 - 6 musicians and electronics. Currently, and probably until 2009, the music is played in a smaller line-up with electronics, video and soloists.
Our live concept consist of a mix of shorter pop songs, and longer electronica mix'es with video played non-stop over app. 2 1/2 hour; and you are absolutely not supposed to sit down all the time, we want to attack the dance challenge too, but in a different way.
