About Me

It all started with Sonic the Hedgehog back in 1992.
My speedy, impatient hero zipped through insane, dangerous mazes to very catchy 16-bit tunes. I found myself humming these tunes and tunes from other games quite often. Fast forward ten years - I discover OCREMIX.org , and I’m in heaven. I find out that normal people remix these songs in their own homes with their own equipment, and I am intrigued. How do they do it? I ponder that at length.
Months of searching and researching are interrupted by my 2-part discovery of Drum’n’bass.
One) I find that iTunes has radio stations. I click electronica, because I think it might be what I’m looking for. I click the station with the coolest name: Destroyer.net . Lo and behold, I hear DnB for the first time, and I am astounded. It was exactly what I had been searching for my whole life. After listening to mix after mix for around a year,
Two) I finally learn how this music is made from my friend DJ Syncro. I buy records, download more mixes, download demo beatmaking software, read tutorials, ask friends questions, and do anything I can to become a part of the electronica community.
Two years later.
Here I am.
I love electronica, mainly Drum’n’Bass, Breakz & Beatz, UK Hardcore, Drill’n’Bass & Breakcore (only in strict moderation), and anything else with a cool beat.
I’m currently working on my first album. It’s a pretty intense process, and I have no idea when I’ll be finished. But...
Until then, please enjoy the preview tracks I add to the standalone player!

Sounds Like: I am mainly into making my own music, but I started my DJ career as a DnB Souljah.

Here is a mix I did from 2006. It was completely impromptu - I never even practiced it. I just wanted to test out my new records, and I decided to record it! Enjoy!

As for the music I make myself, well, it could sound like any of the above bands. I like hardcore, dark, techy blips and beeps, but I also like smooth, bassy chillout. I guess my music could really go in any direction. If you really want to know what it sounds like, listen to it!
