The Gas Station

I am here for Friends

About Me

The GAS Station is a place for teenagers to come together in an environment where they will be accepted, respected, and listened to, no matter what challenges they’re facing. We’re not interested in forming cliques here, just loving people as they are. The G.A.S. in GAS Station stands for God Answering Students. If you have hard questions, that’s why we’re here! We believe in the power of prayer and that God wants to have a unique and personal relationship with every single student, because we know that He has incredible plans for YOUR life. We’re here to help you discover what those plans are.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Wednesday Night 6:00 -8:00pm

Here at THE GAS STATION we meet YOU where YOU are at. Our Wednesday night “service,” is called HIGH OCTANE, because it’s your high intensity re-fueling for the week! Nothing but the best will do!

During our service, you will hear music that you are familiar with…..songs that are on the radio NOW. We use live drama and video clips that are captivating. More often than not, we feature our students in the videos, because we like to use our “in-house” talent as much as possible. So….if you are an actor, you’ve got a place to get plugged in!

We like to encourage students to share their talents. After all, God created YOU very unique, and we want to let YOU have the forum to share the gifts YOU’VE been given. THE GAS STATION is a ministry OF students, not a ministry TO students. We are not a glorified babysitting session. This is a place where students will be able to take OWNERSHIP of THEIR ministry. We believe that teenagers are NOT just the church of TOMORROW….YOU ARE THE CHURCH OF TODAY!! YOU have the capability of transforming YOUR world by sharing the love of Christ to others through relationship. This is a place where you will grow, be challenged, and……. if you’re searching…..even better!

Come Sunday nights at 5:00 for a more personal service with small groups and dinner afterwards.

Music:

CONCERTS AT THE GAS STATION

The GAS STATION brings in some of the best local talent, as well as National-Level acts (Stellar Kart, Brad Stine, War Of Ages, etc.) to provide a venue for local students to enjoy. We also bring in family-oriented talent as well, to provide an opportunity for the Body-of-Christ to come together cross-denominationally.

WHY CONCERTS?

The concerts are a form of outreach for the GAS Station to let the kids in our community find out that there is a place such as this for them to come to that is not only safe, alcohol and drug-free, but a place where their questions can be answered if they are seeking. We provide a staff and volunteers that are available to speak with kids seeking advice or needing prayer.

We've found that through music, kids are more receptive to hearing about the Lord. This provides our Youth Minister, Mark Lancaster, the opportunity to spread the gospel to a receptive audience. The kids that come to the GAS Station are fully aware of the use of the facility and willingly come.

Movies:

We make our own movies! Check them out right here! Market Of Eden Noah's Arkosy

Books:

Heroes:

Jesus Christ and all the students who come through our doors facing the trials and tribulations of being a teenager in this day and age.
