I"m a sucker for old DooWop 50's and 60"s, Moby Grape, Nickel Creek, Marshall Tucker, Beau Brummels, Alison Krause, Buffalo Springfield, Dead, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, JJ Cale, Lee Michaels, Marshall Tucker, Poco, Byrds, Outlaws, Jeff Beck, James Taylor, Quicksilver, Clapton and Jack Bruce, Super Session,Bruce Cockburn, to name a few. I still like Folk/Bluegrass Music and the BLUES when I am. Classical. Dano on the violin. Not much on country, no to western, Rap is not music, No opera.I like Christian music best. Heroes:
Can God be my hero? if so, He is. I thank Him for all He has done for my kids and I, and for all the people He has put in our lives to smooth the path. I have been blessed to have good friends that are like family to me. My Mom, my Dad (US Marine WW2 Pacific)both gone now. My younger brother, Steve and sis in law Jeanette who took care of most everything when sis Connie, then dad, then Jeanette's mom Virginia, and mom during illness and after passing away. I pray that HE blesses them in big ways for their loving efforts. My Grandparents, my Grandad (Rough Rider w/ Teddy Roosevelt), my kids who have endured me raising them alone for the most part and my lack of nurturing abilities (send them to bed w/o dinner and then sneak in w/cookies and milk and tell them not to mind old dad cause he loves them? pretty confusing huh? both of those people are me!) I was a fair dad but made a rotten mom. Too many others to mention, J. Gresham Machen, Francis Schaeffer, Alan Keyes, Jim Dobson, Zola Levitt, AW Tozer, CS Lewis, my Salvation Army Capt. Bert and Jeannie Lohman who taught me about the Blood and the Fire and love.. Heart to GOD Hand to man, Ann Coulter (just because she says what she does), people who live life out as Christians through it all, People who are serving or have served in the armed forces to keep us and others free from tyranny and oppression. It's all about money and power, the Communist/Socialist of this last century and other unGodly types have just changed they battle tactics. Even our own countrymen join in as we continually lose our freedoms in the name of freedom? how does that work? As you lose freedom... tyranny and oppression takes its place. Don't be "tolerant" of the "intolerant" who seek to take yours and others freedoms. Godly values and morals vs mans. Pray for guidance on what He would have you do. Lay down your life by fighting or praying for and supporting those that do. Many have already died at the hand of the tyrants and their minions, Many have already died that you have what freedom we have today... thank God for them too! history of communism
