About Me

It's only Fred! The Co-producer of the Don Welch stage play The Bachelorette Party which was recently optioned by Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment. The next two plays on my plate? Co-producing The Divorce and The Bachelor Party stage plays.Blessed by Lincoln University and Temple University Masters of Film and Media Arts programs earning his degree with concentrations in writing, directing and cinematography.Fellowship with the Philadelphia Drama Guild under the direction of Freedom Theatre’s Artistic Director Walter Dallas.Directed A Shepherd’s Story then requests came in from the Roxbury Film Festival (Boston), the Jamerican Film Festival (Bahamas), the New York and Los Angeles International Film Festivals, and also the Black Film Dot Com tour, which included New York, Atlanta and Chicago, with two encore screenings at the Director’s Guild in Los Angeles.Director and friend Charles Stone III (Drumline, Mr. 3000) was in Charles’ short film TRUE, which spawned into a series of Budweiser Commercials entitled WHASSUP?Popped up on The Oprah Winfrey Show, hung out on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno great guy, answered a few trivia questions in the celebrity square on The Hollywood Squares, and a deep discussion with Regis and Kelly, an ABC Disney Primetime Special and over 200 television and radio interviews globally and picked up a few awards with the guys and won the Grand Prix Award, Canne Film Festival, Cleo Award in Advertising and a Black Emmy Award.Lately it's been a few music videos, Rap City and Weekend Vibe shows under his belt with a plethora of written and directed spec commercials. Wow! And the TV pilots he wrote and directed... "Illtown", "Casting Blues" soon television won't be the same. Oh yeah, and let's not forget about The Bachelorettes tour.

My Interests

Movies, people, traveling the world and writing about all the places I've been and the things I've experienced, the excitement, the dangers. Riding public transportion when I'm back East and absorbing the different cultures you see from neighborhood to neighborhood. Swimming in the ocean. No! In the middle of the ocean! Miles away from land. Creating something great out of limited resources.
