In 1995 when Bob started to write country songs full time, he collaborated with two talented songwriters, Jerry Lundy and David Coons. As his confidence grew, Bob began writing both the words and music for his songs, though he still enjoys collaborating on material. Recently Bob started a new collaboration with Australian born singer/songwriter Karen Jacobsen on a new song called, "This Time" recorded 2007 which is now a 2008 MAC Award nominee for 2008 Outstanding Song Of The Year.
Bob received an Honorable Mention in the 2007 14th Annual Billboard World Songwriting Contest for his country songs, "The Truth" and "As Good As It Gets", as well as a Runner Up in the VH1 Song Of The Year Contest for 2006 for his songs, "Out In The Cold" and "Living Without Her Is Killing Him". Bob is also an ASCAPLU$ Award Recipient for 2005-2006.

Bob Levy is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) in New York, as well as the Songwriters Guild of America.
For the last ten years Bob teamed up with talented keyboardist, arranger and record producer, Jamey Whiting in Nashville, TN. Jamey's studio, Nashville Tunes recorded and produced many of Bob's country songs for various Nashville artists. Bob's song "Innocent Little One" is featured on country artist Christian Ramsey..s CD, "If It Takes All Night" on Missile Records, released in 2003. Bob's "Train To San Antone", recorded by Mike Lusk, was released on NBT Records this year on the "Ride The Train" series number 17-18.
Bob Levy's songs are published by Abalorn Music, ASCAP SOCAN and Silk River Music, ASCAP, Bob's own ASCAP publishing company.
