I love working in the independent film industry, appearing in regional television and radio commercials, and performing in theater productions.

"Mr. Marmalde".

SINGING & SONGWRITING
I LOVE music and have entertained audiences performing solo and in music groups (including in the awesome band
Thataway) for many years.
Among my list of favorite shows of my life, I was truly honored to
sing solo before a sold-out crowd of Brooks & Dunn fans at an Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame concert. There, I just happened to make grown men cry with a rendition of songs to honor an inductee, the late Lee Wiley. (The background photo on this page is a pic from that performance.)
My current passion involves writing, performing and recording my own original songs, many of which are going on the soundtracks for independent films:
My original song
"Don't Do Me", was featured in the soundtrack of the feature film
"Jesus Fish" (2008) - this film was the
WINNER of the BEST OKLAHOMA SOIL FILM award at the Bare Bones Int'l Indie Film Fest.
"Mid Air" will be on the soundtrack of the feature film
"DENIZEN" by J.A. Steel.
"With You" will be featured on the soundtrack of the short film
"From Here", part of the full feature film project,
"Why I Love Tulsa" (more details on www.whyilovetulsa.com).
"Drive Your Life",
She Said Ah Ha, and
"I Believe You Believe in Me", all three original songs will be on the soundtrack of the independent feature film
"Unexpected" (2009).
"Get Wild" has been selected to be added to the soundtrack of another indie film (official announcement soon), other songs are already being considered for soundtracks in other independent feature films, and I have more songs on the way to being recorded.
My dream is still to sing back-up harmonies behind an amazing artist on all the huge stages and enormous venues!... someday!
FILMMAKING
"Libby Girl - Curiosity Driven" (2009) is my latest short film starring my beautiful jack russell terrier named Libby, co-starring my sweet chihuahuas Rico and Bruno, and featuring my original song by the same name. As usual, I enjoyed directing, producing, writing, filming, editing, singing, acting, promoting, - you name it, I absolutely love EVERY minute of the whole film process!!!
"Libby Girl: Curiosity Driven" was
nominated for the "Bonehead of Excellence Award" in "Best Micro Short Picture" category at Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival in April, 2009. The short was also an official selection of the BN Film Fest in May, 2009.
My first short film/music video
"Libby Girl"(2006), starring the same cast and featuring an earlier, much different version of the song, won a
Gold Bone for its movie poster at a Bare Bones International Film Festival in Oklahoma, was
nominated for "Best Music Video" at that fest, and was also an official
Finalist at the PetFlix Film Festival in Texas.
I've helped out on crew for a number of films over the years. Most recently, I loved assistant directing, location scouting, and extras casting for the feature film
"Sacred Bloods"(2009). Other recent crew work includes serving as the location scout for the feature film
"Salvation"(2007), available now at Blockbuster and Amazon, and for the award winning short film,
"The Granite Orchard"(2006).
I am currently segment producing, filming and editing segments for
"The Russian Redneck" and have already started to develop new short films starring my beloved animals.
