The ultimate in sonerous, saxaphone playing, all singing, all dancing, stuffed bears! I like a glass

About Me

Hi Folks! I'm a bit of a 'dude' I'm afraid! When I'm not touring with my band and crew, I'm usually chilling in bars, playing guitars and 'eating up cars' as the saying goes! (See Blondie for the reference on that one).I'm a bit less available than I used to be, (sigh! sorry girls), having recently moved in with my delectable muse, Tedette, (see photos section). We are also joined occasionally by Tedette's cousin Tiddles, (but hey! No-one's perfect!), though Tiddles also has her own gaff near Heathrow, together with an assorted menagerie (too numerous to mention).Meanwhile, here in our neck of the woods, we share a domicile with an evil looking panther, a dodgy horse, an ancient leopard, weird rabbit, somewhat suspect snake, and last but not least, my best mate, Leo. Leo and I used to have a bit of a thing going together, but like I said, no-one's perfect! There's also a couple of SERIOUSLY peculiar humans here, but we try to have as little to do with them as possible. They're very odd!As for me, I'm into anything that moves, (of the mechanical variety that is), and preferably goes fast: cars, boats, planes, bykes, you name it. My particularly great loves however, are Harly Davidsons and old bi-planes. (Ultimate dream is to own my own Gypsy Moth. Maybe when the band hits the big time, who knows)? I'm also quite smitten with microlites, and I go a bundle on boats too. Nothing I love more (when I'm not burning up rubber on the roads), than messing about in boats. Etta, (short for Tedette), wants to get a narrow boat. I suppose I don't mind. I'd rather have a speed boat of course, but I reckon I could handle a narrow boat and take to the waters as a river gypsy if I had to.Otherwise, my needs are simple. I like a warm bed, a crackling fire, some good sounds on the deck, a bottle of something special, and me girlie by my side. Sometimes the humans come and plague us, which is a real pain, but we try to turf 'em out wherever possible!I love to travel too. Me and the humans (well okay, I'd rather NOT have to work with them, but they're better typists than me), are working on an anthology - Travels with Ted - which is going to be a compilation of words, pictures and postcards from various of my travels around Britain. Meanwhile, we've posted a few of our faves from recent trips into the pics section for your perusal, so hope you enjoy them. Finally, my musical accomplishments include sax, drums and guitar, (oh and I also play the piano a little: - badly)! Etta's into sax in a big way, so I serenede her from time to time with a meddley or two. Does wonders for my love-life!I hope you enjoy my pages. I'll be up-dating with blogs and pics fairly regularly I hope, so do pop back and have a look sometime.Joy of the day to you,TED!
