The Stines

Voted the Best Unsigned Act on Merseyside

About Me

THE STINES - VOTED BEST UNSIGNED ACT IN MERSEYSIDE BY RADIO CITY 96.7 AND MAKE YOUR MARK!!!
The Stines are proud to announce winning the much coveted Make Your Mark competition in conjunction with Radio City 96.7.
With thousands of votes coming in for the finalists, The Stines with their catchy beats and retro rock won through with the majority share of votes. X Factor, eat your heart out.
The Stines would just like to say a big thanks to everyone that voted and to look forward to the release of our new EP in the coming months. It's nice to be finally recognised as the best band and live act around.
About the band
The Stines are a 4 piece rock and roll band from the Wirral and play a unique brand of original material. Guaranteed to entertain any crowd with an energetic, loud and lively performance.Check out the songs from our demo 'Kamikaze Karma' recorded feb 07, more tracks to come from these sessions in the near future.
"The Stines... bring their gutsy, retro guitar driven rock beats seamlessly into the 21st century with consummate ease."
"Visualise go-go dancers and Austin Powers cutting the grooves to the stop/go rhythm of ‘Merry-go-Round'...
To sum up, The Stines have put together an EP of well crafted songs, lyrically strong with a powerful, energetic vocal, clear beats and skilfully weaving intricate guitar licks... what does matter is that your CD collection will be ever so slightly naked without Kamikaze Karma in there."

Kamikaze Karma EP Review, Manchesterismusic.co.uk
" Hints of classic rock seep out...the best thing about this band though, is the singer who's confident enough to step right into the groove and gel the blues soaked rock riffs into an enjoyable rumble."
