About Me

I edited my profile at LayoutSource.net , check out these Myspace Layouts
J. JeVon is a gifted musician, songwriter, and director who has been active in the music ministry since at an early age. JeVon became the musician for 1st Pentecostal C.O.G.I.C. (better known as Page's Temple) as well as the North Dallas District of the Church of God in Christin 1989(his freshman year in high school). After graduation, JeVon attended Mountain View Community College, where he served as the musician and director of the college gospel choir. Under his leadership, Mountain View College Gospel Choir recieved an opportunity to do a TV commercial for the Dallas County Community College District promoting education. The commercial ran for over 2 years. In 1994, JeVon started to realize the gift that God had given him and had a desire to start his own choir. On December 9, 1994, the local gospel community of Dallas/Ft. worth packed out 1st Pentecostal C.O.G.I.C. to witness the debut concert of J. JeVon Jackson & Spiritual Attitude. To this day JeVon Jackson & Spiritual Attitude is still going strong, spreading the message of Jesus Christ through song. On December 9, 2006 JeVon and S.A. had their 1st Live Recording in Dallas. Again the church was packed to capacity. The recording was produced by Bobby Sparks and the recording was a "TOTAL WORSHIP EXPERIENCE". The musicians that played on the recording was off the chain. Jonathan DuBose Jr. floored us with his unexplainable guitar playing along with Bobby sparks, Steve Lewis, Tim yates, Will Suddeth 1v, Virgil Mabry, and Gene Butler, and of course, the vocals were hot and ANNOINTED. In October of 2002, JeVon accepted his call to the ministryand preached his 1st sermon in Feb. of 2003. Throughout his musical career, he has been blessed with the opportunity to play for alot of the best national and local Gospel artist such as, Andre Crouch, Dorinda Clark Cole, Dr. Vernard Johnson, and Kirk Franklin just to name a few. JeVon is a family man and loves his beautifull wife and 3 kids. JeVon recently loss his sister and everything that he does musically is dedicated to her memory. Minister J. JeVon Jackson's motto is "THE ANNOINTING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE". He is known for his unusual annointed organ playing. His desire is that God uses him to help somebody, so his living will not be in vain.
