Nadir were born as an idea during summer 2002 by Nikolas & Reana. Nikos Politopoulos joined them and Nadir started existing as a band in the 8th of July when their Name was decided . Nelly Tampakopoulos joined Nadir during Christmas 2002 when nadir were playing Greek rock. In the end of 2003 Panos Kalavrezos, replacing Nadir's friend and guitarist Spyros Skandalos who was temporally helping them by playing the Bass. That's when Nadir had a full line-up as a band for the first time.
Month by month Nadir were working on their sound and started leaving the Greek rock style tending to evolve to an Atmospheric Metal band (with Dark influences).During 2005 Nadir Looked for the first time similar to the present Band in terms of music and style.
After several live performances and setbacks, Nadir traveled to Stockholm, Sweden and recorded their debut EP during January 2007.Some weeks later it was named “Our world of light will be so cold”
During Metal Healing Festival (summer 2007), were Nadir performed, some personal problems occurred among the members of the band. Those problems escalated until the end of summer. After several departures Reana & Nikolas were left alone again, after 5 years and decided to make a new start. So they found new skilled members willing to offer. Those members were Skarlas(Bass),Andreas(drums),Diamond(keys).
Nadir' sound started to evolve more because of the member additions without loosing their basic elements that make them recognizable. In the 28th of October Nadir had their first live gig with the new line-up.
Now Nadir are recording their new demo which is expected to be released during April 2008.It will contain new tracks and will be representative of their sound's evolution.
