About Me

I am a performing songwriter, with deep roots to the 60's. I played in my first R&R band in 1962, finding shortlived fame in 1966 with "The Spades". The Spades toured with The Zombies and The Searchers in 1966, later recording at the RCA studio in Nashville. Now at the tender age of 60, I have achieved a modest level of success as a folksinger, songwriter, and storyteller. I am a regular at many festivals and venues from Florida to North Carolina. I have just been selected to perform at the Florida Folk Festival for the fifth consecutive year. My contemporaries in the early, Florida stage of my music career included friends such as Gram Parsons, Kent LaVoie (LOBO), Jimmy Stafford, Carl Chambers of the Bellamy Bros., Jesse Chambers, Bellamy Bros. and the Ricky Scaggs band, and my old Spademate Jon La Frandre, of the Bellamy Bros.Myspace Backgrounds
