I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am 65 and Fearless.
Most important to me are music, my family, spirituality and loyal friendships. I am the proud mother of 3 great kids and 4 grands.
In the past 8 years I have had braces on my teeth, returned to college to finish a BA, learned to bike reaching 40 miles in one day recently (for a novice not bad),and am learning to play the guitar.
Special thanks to Raven Stands Alone for his biking encouragement and expertise and for introducing me to the world of Florida Folk Music.

My Interests

biking, camping, music, photography, challenging my status quo, and living life with an open heart.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with an upbeat outlook who is a seeker of the best in mankind and deals from the heart is welcome here. The creator of us all is not through with me yet. How about you? That life throws curve balls to us is a fact. In Humor is found balance especially when applied to ourselves. I admire those who see injustice and actively, openly ask questions and demand change. Bravo.
I reserve the right to approve comments and stories on my site. Just make it appropriate. Thanks.

Music:

Any for the most part, even some rap. Music can even be the crickets and frogs lulling me to sleep at night.

Movies:

SciFi is okay, some documentaries, foreign flicks, those based on actual facts about people, enlightened comedies

Television:

The Daily Show, South Park, So you think you can dance, CNN

Books:

The Prophet; Extraordinary Relationships; biographical novels about people conquering hardship due to illness, natural disasters, unexpected twists along a known path or taking the road less traveled.

Heroes:

I appreciate the unsung heroes who never make the news but save lives, lend helping hands, give comfort or spread kindness and smiles.
