My Interests

It's that time again. Time to evaluate and revise. Things are not quite as they should be in my world. It's time for some meditation, thinking and revamping. Any ideas are always appreciated.

I'd like to meet:

People who are REAL! Thinkers, non-judgemental, open minded people who love to chat and share ideas. Let me listen and let me learn something new from you. Now why didn't they have myspace in my youth? Love it.

Music:

I just got XM Satellite radio and it's great, so I am exploring all types on music on there. Really, I can say I enjoy all of it and listen to different music all the time, depending on my mood. The stations I set up are 60's, the 90's, New country hits, Rock hits, Bluegrass, Fox News, Indie, Starbucks, Reggae, Opera Classical, and a few more. It is awesome... love the technology...

Movies:

Unpredictable movies, artsy movies, movies that make you think, anything with Meryl Streep in it. Enjoy thrillers that make me afraid... very afraid.

Television:

Haven't been much into tv lately, but I always enjoy the reality shows because I love people, real people doing real things.

Books:

Top of the list, The Secret and Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Amy Tan novels as well as Toni Morrisons. All types of Poetry and both fiction and nonfiction as long as it captures my interest and teaches me something I need/want to know.

Heroes:

My Mom, forever up to God. I am looking forward to seeing her again. She was my teacher/mentor/friend and I think of her every single day. My husband, Reb, who is a saint for putting up with me. Love you sweetie. My children, three so different, yet all very exceptional people for turning into who they were meant to be. Love you, Noone, Ryan and Megan always. My grandchildren, Dalton, Cooper, Rebel IV, and Caden for showing me how to enjoy life each day and see it through their eyes. You mean the world to me. My friends for joy, fun, advice and adventure. They keep me sane.I want to give a special thanks here to all those who work in community service and who serve us, protect us, and save lives every day. For this I thank you!!!!!
