As for musicians, i would be ashamed by the wonder in my eyes if i got to look at Paul Simon's writing. i Think there is something peculiar about the inspiration behind his work. It's meanings never cease to unveil themselves on new levels.
Writers who don't think about publishing, artists in search of their souls (and the perfect purple), musicians who don't need a stage to become fulfilled and mothers who give everything to their masterpieces.
