Nel 2005 nasce “ACUFENEâ€, progetto sperimentale alla ricerca di un sound introspettivo.
Suoni scanditi da feedback, fradici di un sottile velo psichedelico dai ritmi martellanti, di percussioni e bassi in melodie distorte fino all’unisono; nascono così, dalla cantina che vibra con lamenti e parlati, racconti di vita che liberano la mente;
Ore e notti stanche assistono all’evoluzione di pezzi irrisolti e bozze divenute canzoni.
Le atmosfere che man mano si delineano hanno un sapore indie rock, le influenze sono varie: dai rumori suburbani al blues dai toni acidi.
La band cagliaritana composta da Ivan (voce, chitarra e flauto), Samuele (batteria e cori) e, dal 2006, Matteo (basso,tastiere e cori), spinta dalla pressante esigenza di suonare live (con momenti di improvvisazione) , partecipa a diverse manifestazioni culturali, quali reading, rassegne ed altri eventi musicali dell’isola .
Producendo parallelamente alcune demo, è maturata la necessità di realizzare una registrazione più accurata alla quale stanno attualmente lavorando.

---------------------------------In 2005 rises ACUFENE, an experimental project on search of an introspected sound. Rhythmic sounds from feedback, soaked with a psychedelic thin layer of incessant rhythms, percussions and basses for distorted melodies up to unisonous; thus arise, from a cellar vibrating with plaintive sounds and words, life stories that free one's mind. Tired hours and nights witness an evolution of unsolved pieces and drafts, then become songs. The atmospheres that little by little emerge feel some indie rock, the influences are various: from suburban clangs to sour-tuned blues. The band from the city of Cagliari, composed by Ivan (voice, guitar and flute), Samuele (drums and chorus) and as from 2006, Matteo (bass, keyboards and chorus), urged by the need of playing live ( also with some improvisation), takes part to several cultural events like reading, festivals and many other musical performances on the Island. Meanwhile, by producing a few demos, it became necessary to carry out an even more accurate recording, on which the band is working.
