About Me

The name 'Zenga' comes from the name of an Italian goalkeeper, Walter Zenga, who played in the 1990 World Cup for his country. The name was chosen on the spur of the moment when I happened to be listening to the band Keane and thought it would be a good idea to take a footballer's name as an artistic persona in the way I've assumed Keane have done.
The music of Zenga is almost exclusively primarily focused upon a strong, deep bass-line, with the drum beat and a melody bolted on. Vocals are added later if required and appropriate. All recordings are 100% original.
Please feel free to listen to all of the samples on this page and then any feedback would be much appreciated.
Of course, if you happen to be a 'top Record Exec.', then I would be even more grateful to receive any comments, mainly the positive ones!!

Influences: Good music from the Beatles to Beethoven!

Although I prefer the works of Nirvana, Pendulum, Rob Dougan, Snow Patrol and Faithless. I'm also a huge fan of the European Trance DJs.

As well as this, I'm also probably heavily influenced by my Welsh musical heritage - "Gwlad Beirdd a Chantorion"!!

Sounds Like: Experimental Melodic Emotive/Soulful Down Beat Dance, with a Drum and a Bass and a hint of early 90's rave.

That's a big musical box!

NEW TRACK: Kelly Dancing With A Blade

As I am writing this, "Ni Wnaf Anghofio" is still featured on this site, but with a suicide note-esque tone, I'd say by the time most of you read this, the track should be gone (but not forgotten of c...
