Aria's Biography
Aria's music embodies edgy R&B sounds with a pop feel. This singer/songwriter's savvy lyrics reach deep below the surface and into the listener's soul. Aria has been inspired by artists such as Etta James and Aretha Franklin.
Aria's passion for her artistry is what drives her to create an array of unique yet comfortably familiar sounds. "I love to paint outside the lines of chords, taking my audience on a colorful journey through song." With a multi-generational appeal, Aria's music is timeless. Born and raised in the San Francisco bay area, Aria is an exotic blend of Lebanese and Portuguese. Inspired to write as well as sing from an early age, Aria's fate has taken numerous turns, including the arrangement of an all girl group, "Reality" and later Aria's band "Lucky Six", with the opportunity to tour Europe, Hong Kong and China. Instead, she decided to focus on her maturing solo efforts.
The decision to move to Los Angeles has marked the beginning of a new stage in her life as a recording artist and performer. "When I write and sing music, I give the listener a piece of my heart, a true look into my soul. I believe that through song, I can positively impact the lives of others." Most recently Aria starred in NBC's show, Star Tomorrow and is also co-starring in the new kids TV show, Super Jane. Aria is currently writing and recording her new album with an entirely different sound that fuses Blues, Soul and Pop. Her album will be available on I-Tunes early 2008. Stay tuned.
