One of Ash's friends - a fellow bartender at the club they worked at - talked her into singing karaoke one night. To his schock and awe, it turned out this beautiful girl he'd been working with could sing and entertain a crowd!------------------------------------------------------

Soon she was working with Phil Deschambault, a top Winnipeg Producer, as his demo singer. Phil saw the obvious potential in Ash and offered to write songs with her - which led to an unbelievable chemistry and friendship. Their "not-the-usual-pop" style just clicked right away, and suited their wide influences which include ABBA, The Cardigans, Imogen Heap, Madonna, and The Scissor Sisters.

Phil contacted Glen Willows, who manages Inward Eye (myspace.com/inwardeye) signed to J Records and Sony/BMG worldwide. Glen signed Ash, and started circulating the rough demos for feedback. They immediately captured the attention of the music industry in Canada and New York.-------------------------------------------------------

Lately, Ash and Phil have been co-writing with writers and producers from EMI Publishing, Junior Sanchez (Madonna, Shakira), Robbie Roth (Disney), and have been courted by American and European publishers.-------------------------------------------------
