my name is Marc AKA Noz or Nozza. i was born in salford manchester. i moved around the u.k. a lot until i settled in Llandudno in North Wales when i was 16. i have always been deeply rooted in music from a young age, as my parents have there own love for music, singing, and playing instruments. That being said, i never really got into music seriously until i was 16, when i finally learnt to play that fender mustang my folks bought me for my 14th birthday. From that point on i was addicted, i wanted nothing more than to be surrounded by music 24 7. My first big break in music came when me and 4 other friends, Russ Barret, Chris Davis and Johnny Nix Decided to start a punk band for laugh. We only intended it to be a joke, but it quickly became a monster that no one saw coming!!!We called ourselfs Sweaty Machete after a name pounding session on the patio of one of our local pubs. Shortly after we played our fist Gig in a small pub in Llanfairfechan. Around 150 people turned up to rock out, and we ended up getting barred from the town..... sweaty machete was born. we had a mad roller coaster ride and dominated the coast for about 5 years. The exctement i felt playing gigs in that band with shit loads of poeple, jumping around and singing our songs made me feel unreal, and i knew i couldnt do anything other than music any more...
In the winter of 99/00 i came over to check out canada with a view to living here. i loved it, got all my paperwork done, and moved here in june 2000. From there i went to audio school to help start a career in the technical side of the music industry, and worked my arse off to get where i am today, a live sound engineer. The bands that i do sound for here in the city are Moses Mayes, Tele, Alverstone,Atomic Candy,Mad young Darlings, Broken Halo, Jaw, River City Hum, Steeple Chaser and countless others.
I recently landed the position as Tour Manager for Inward Eye on the Finger Eleven canadian tour, this has now opened up a new aspect to my work, that i will embrace with the upmost passion.

i love to laugh, and love to make poeple laugh!!! but i'd make a real shit ass comedian (i cant tell jokes, in fact i ruin them). I'm a pretty tough kinda guy, and i dont scare easily.
I exude confidence, which i think is a good thing, although some poeple dont know how to react to this, and sometimes take me the wrong way.... Shame on you :)
