Born in the croatian harbor town of Rijeka - the Hamburg of the Balkans. Due to family and economic circumstances, my mother and I immigrated shortly after to Switzerland, precisely to the City of Berne. Even though I had beed a fan of music since my early childhood, I didn..t start playing the guitar until I turned 14. In order to build a foundation for a professional music-career, at age 19, I enrolled in the internationally well-known school «Guitar Institute of Technology» in Los Angeles, California.Instructors such as Paul Gilbert, Vinnie Moore, Scott Henderson, Pat Metheny, Frank Gambale or Joe Diorio were a tremendous help in perfecting my guitar playing. These cats showed me that if you wanted to have a chance, you had to practice, practice, practice. And so I did. In September of 1989, a year later I graduated with a «Degree of Honors». It was an incredible time.I..ve been living and working as a professional musician/musical director in switzerland and around europe.
