I've been writing songs since I was seventeen. Prior to that I spent most of my childhood locked away on my own drawing. As I grew up I became more interested in philosophy.When I was younger I did try and get some decent recordings, performed live occasionally and sent a few tapes around to music publishers. I even had a lil band at one stage. Never had no dough though and dedicated myself to freedom as opposed to either security or ambition although I could just never see a way to make more use of my songs and share them with the world. So, now I'm committed to writing a series of books and I have neglected my music for several years.I went through several distinctive phases as a songwriter. The songs on this page are from three different periods.It's difficult to make good quality recordings of acoustic music. These songs were recorded using a friend's system at home and we did not have a decent pick-up or mic for the guitar. Still, it's better than nothing. I always think the music should speak for itself regardless of technological interference!
