Son of two hippies, north and south divide.Grew up around lots of musicians and and artisans. Raised on a healty diet of music and sugar... Teens were as blurry and wasteful as anyone elses, but I did start to home in on what I liked doing. 20's were rushed! I've only just gotten used to the idea, I've learned what I needed to know at 21, can I start over, please?! No such luck, but thanks for the concept H.G.
Yeah, 20's was the ride that went up and down and round and round, it had thrills and chills... I lost a lot but learnt so very much more, like the brutal honesty of truth... 29 now. Maybe I slow down and carefully develop all this creatively? I dig wisdom, but I don't claim it like some people try to...I've only ever sought wisdom, and sought to share it. Pass the peas, per say?

'I'll try to be around and about. But if I'm not, then you know that I'm behind your eyelids, and I'll meet you there.'Kona, September 1999
A frown can't bring out the beauty that you are Love within and you'll begin smiling... There're brighter days ahead
Don't mess your face up with bitter tears 'Cause life is gonna be what it is It's okay, please don't delay from smiling... There're brighter days ahead
Thank yew fo smiling
'Of course we must keep up with the world in general, but we must also be sure not to make ourselves to comfortably a part of it. Modishness is the sign of the second rate. Ultimately we are not judged by how we fit into the world, but by our individual response to it...
ORSON WELLES
The most important thing to do in your life, is to not interfere with somebody else's life...· Drop out of school before your mind rots from exposure to our mediocre educational system. Forget about the Senior Prom and go to the library and educate yourself if you've got any guts. Some of you like Pep rallies and plastic robots who tell you what to read. Forget I mentioned it. This song has no message. Rise for the flag salute... Jazz is not dead, it just smells funny...
Information is not knowledge. Knowledge is not wisdom. Wisdom is not truth. Truth is not beauty. Beauty is not love. Love is not music. Music is THE BEST...
In 1958 I wrote the following: 'There are no hard distinctions between what is real and what is unreal, nor between what is true and what is false. A thing is not necessarily either true or false; it can be both true and false.' I believe that these assertions still make sense and do still apply to the exploration of reality through art. So as a writer I stand by them but as a citizen I cannot. As a citizen I must ask: What is true? What is false? Truth in art is forever elusive. You never quite find it but the search for it is compulsive. The search is clearly what drives the endeavour. The search is your task. More often than not you stumble upon the truth in the dark, colliding with it or just glimpsing an image or a shape which seems to correspond to the truth, often without realising that you have done so. But the real truth is that there never is any such thing as one truth to be found in dramatic art. There are many. These truths challenge each other, recoil from each other, reflect each other, ignore each other, tease each other, are blind to each other. Sometimes you feel you have the truth of a moment in your hand, then it slips through your fingers and is lost.

America... just a nation of two hundred million used car salesmen with all the money we need to buy guns and no qualms about killing anybody else in the world who tries to make us uncomfortable.
