Hola mi amigos,
idlefisH are on a massive come down from the biggest gig this year at Harrogate Royal Hall. It was a packed house. At the last count more than a thousand of you came down. We hope you're feeling the same as us today. On cloud nine and nursing sore heads.
Big Big Thanks to D-Nile for a great night. The lads played a blinder, and if we aren't buying their CD's, downloading their songs, and buying the t-shirts next year when they go stratospheric then there's no justice in the rock world.
Hope you caught Barton before us. Already well well well established and a great band to see. Plus a good bunch of lads. Good luck on the tour guys.
TO YOU ALL, thanks for coming along. It was a gig not to be missed.
idlefisH are back soon. Too many offers from venues and agents from around the country to tell you when yet. We've taken so many calls over the last 24 hours that Simes' and Dave's phone batteries ran out!!
But, when we're powered back up again, you'll be hearing twice the songs, at venues twice the size. And with twice the crack.

OUR GEARWAVY plays desert yellow and purple haze Ibanez RG550's through a Marshall JMP1 and JFX with a Stereo 1922 Marshall cab.
FX - Boss DS1, Boss OC2, Boss CE2b, Boss HF2, Arion MEQ2, Dunlop Cry Baby Wah, MXR Phase 45 + MIDI controller.
Wavy's other guitars include:
1984 Fender Squier "Hamstercaster" Strat, Tanglewood TN55
Wavy is proud of the fact that he still has every guitar he has ever owned, although his banana-necked, one-tonne, double-necked 12/6 string lives in the studio now.

JONH plays a 2000 Status Graphite S2 classic 5 string in Figured Walnut, and a 1993 Kubicki Ex-Factor 4 string custom.
He also owns a 1995 MusicMan Stingray 4 string with Status Graphite MM neck and Hipshot D-Tuner. 2008 Ibanez AGB200 4 string semi acoustic. 2006 Warwick Thumb B/O 5 string. And a 2008 Ibanez SR506 6 string which never sees the light of day outside the studio.
His main rig is a Gallien Krueger RB700 Bi-Amp head with 800w GK RBX 4x10 cab. Backup rig - Ashdown Superfly 500, and 4ohm Celestion-loaded Hartke 115XL cab.
FX - Boss TU2, AW3, EMMA DiscumBOBulator, TC Vintage Bass Distortion, EHXBB, and Hartke VXL Bass Attack. Also a rackmount Alesis 3630 compressor.
Jhon uses his Status 5 live. Backed up with the Kubicki.
And sleeps soundly with the rest of his basses.

WANYE plays brass saxophones. One that's the same size as he is. The other - slightly smaller.
He also strums a ukelele now and again.
...
SIMES plays expensive white drums, on expensive skins, and hits expensive golden cymbals. He also plays with expensive wooden sticks, and expensive plastic rods. And expensive metal brushes.
He also bruises his cheeky sausage fingers knocking the crap out of an expensive PP Cajon.
And shakes, hits, wobbles, and tickles a plethora of percussion instruments.
But what makes him even more valuable than his undoubted ability, timing, organisation, leadership, patience, and beard, is that Simes happens to smack a Roland Sample pad with various settings from time to time. And that goes a long way to defining the idlefisH sound.
