What does your favorite color say about you?
YOU ARE YELLOW:
Yellow symbolizes: wisdom, joy, happiness, intellectual energy.
Wise --- Aware --- Curious
Intellectual --- Logical --- Decisive
Introverted --- Focused --- Driven
The shade of yellow determines the meaning. Pure, bright and sunny yellow is the easiest color to see. People who are blind to other colors can usually see yellow. Yellow is full of creative and intellectual energy.
Yellow symbolizes wisdom. Means joy and happiness. People of high intellect favor yellow.
Yellow Energy is like the energy of a bright sunny day, which brings clarity and awareness. Clean light yellow clears the mind, making it active and alert.
Politics: Typically, I vote either Libertarian or Independent. To me, Dennis Kucinich looks like a good choice for the presidential candidate. He's actually pursuing impeachment against Bush. :-O
Life Experiences: I am constantly striving for understanding in this life. I have found that I live my life like the phoenix. The mythical bird which becomes consumed by flames, then rises out of the ashes and evolves to obtain broader vision - trial by fire. :-)
Spirituality: What I am about to say about spirituality/religion is only an opinion. I examine various perspectives and it has helped me see the bigger picture. I am not saying anyone is right or wrong.
You Should Rule Saturn
Saturn is a mysterious planet that can rarely be seen with the naked eye.
You are perfect to rule Saturn because like its rings, you don't always follow the rules of nature.
And like Saturn, to really be able to understand you, someone must delve beyond your appearance.
You are not an easy person to befriend. However, once you enter a friendship, you'll be a friend for life.
You think slowly but deeply. You only gain great understanding after a situation has past.
My spiritual philosophy is constantly evolving. With each new insight, I am able to reach a new height of awareness. I can't imagine NOT searching, why stifle my own spiritual growth? There is so much out there! Such amazing discoveries to be had.
You Are 72% Open Minded
You are a very open minded person, but you're also well grounded.
Tolerant and flexible, you appreciate most lifestyles and viewpoints.
But you also know where you stand firm, and you can draw that line.
You're open to considering every possibility - but in the end, you stand true to yourself.
Almost everything about spirituality, philosophies and religions are theories...NO ONE really knows. When I searched, I asked these questions:
What happens when I die? Is there life after death? Is there a heaven and hell? Why do some people intentionaly cause harm? Why do children (who are so innocent) suffer or die?
You scored as Cultural Creative
Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm.
You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves.
You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.
I believe in past lives, karma, life after death, etc. I tried to follow organized religion years ago and had difficulty finding the answers that i was seeking. Once I read about past lives, it just made sense.
I feel there is validity in Christ's teachings as well as numerous eastern philosophies. But - I think religion complicates the message of what spirituality is about - becoming one with God.
Religions should unite - NOT DIVIDE. "We are all part of the same race - we are all human".
ANY belief system that promotes hatred, judgement, violence or division - does not have a TRUE connection to GOD. We are ALL a part of god.
Hate NEVER comes from god - THAT comes from man.
I do not see god as a human figure, but as pure energy - EVERYTHING is made of energy. We ALL have the power of god within us to manifest/create. As Einstein said: Energy does not die, it simply changes form. I think this applies to the soul - even though the body dies, the soul lives on.....
Photography: I was a photography student and loved carrying my 35mm around with me, wherever I went. I found myself drawn to places where people congregated - then just observed and saw the interaction and expressions. THAT is what i love to capture. People. The human face speaks volumes.
There is something so tangible working with a 35mm - having control of the picture from beginning to end. I love the smell of a darkroom and creating a picture from the shot being taken, developing the film, to printing the picture myself. I had aspired to be a photojournalist, but alas, a regular paycheck took priority.
Finally got some of the images scanned. These are on mount boards, so i was unable to lay them completely flat during the scanning:
Your Hidden Talent
You have the natural talent of rocking the boat, thwarting the system.
And while this may not seem big, it can be.
It's people like you who serve as the catalysts to major cultural changes.
You're just a bit behind the scenes, so no one really notices.
"The Awakening" It's quite inspiring - check it out.
Face to face - my friends on myspace! :-) Y'all are awesome!
Searchers and Independent Thinkers: Anyone who has an open mind and enjoys stimulating discussions. If you are secure in your beliefs, a healthy discource shouldn't threaten it. A good conversation is like a cup a coffee - it can keep you up all night!
==============================
Bill Maher: He speaks his mind, especially in a country that now stifles free speech. I may not always agree with him, but i respect his ability to ask the hard questions. He is what inspired me to seek stimulating conversations. An exchange of ideas can be a powerful experience. Discussing controversial issues can bring depth to issues - things you may not have considered.
I find him incredibly sexy - his intelligence, outspoken humor, and independent thinking is such a turn on! His good looks don't hurt either! LOL!
Bill Maher
For President ...... I can dream can't I?!?!?!
==============================
I think this is a great video and a perfect example of why I love Bill Maher. This is from Real Time with Bill Maher which airs on HBO. This was made right before the republican convention (2004?) that was held in New York City.
The Final Rule (1:57) is what makes this clip my FAVORITE - this is a laugh out loud Rule! I especially love the particular hand gesture and facial expression he hopes will be displayed during the demonstrations. Enjoy
Warning: It is VERY politically INCORRECT. ;-)

Peter Gabriel: A prolific and creative artist. He is a true broad-minded visionary - there are no limits to what he can express in his music. He has an innate ability to combine a variety of instruments and ethnic influences, and create a tapestry of profound and amazing music.
He is a true humanitarian from the inception of Amnesty International to Witness - A coalition for an International Criminal Court. Peter Gabriel has broadened my world more than any other musician.
==============================
I am a strong supporter of civil and human rights. Organizaton I feel make a strong impact: Amnesty International, Witness & ICC (Coalition for an International Criminal Court)
Here is a Public Service Announcement about Witness (ICC) - Peter Gabriel did the soundtrack to it. It didn't shock me this adminstration does not support it - because if they did, they would be tried as war criminals. After seeing this video, how can you NOT support it?
As it so hauntingly states in the PSA,
"Without justice there is no peace, without accountability there is no hope".

This is an EXCELLENT movie - V for Vendetta. Definite shadings of what this country is losing everyday. This man was deemed a a threat to a dictatorship government. In this scene, he took over the airwaves. GREAT GREAT SCENE. This movie will get you to think and question. Very intelligent script...
Practically anything by Peter Gabriel. Typically the songs that stick with me are the tracks that DON'T make the top 20. It has to be unique tho. Something that stands out from the rest.
V for Vendetta (extremely appropriate for the times)
The Girl in The Cafe (quiet, heartfelt & sincere movie)
The Killing Fields (based on the journalist Sydney Shamburg's actual accounts during the fall of Cambodia)
Harold and Maude (Very quirky and unpredictable story - great soundtrack)
My Life (Very spiritual - very close in alignment to my own beliefs)
Pleasantville (Incredible concept)
The House of The Spirits (very spiritual)
Walk On Water (Tolerance)
Crash (Redemption)
The Last Temptation of Christ (Incredible film, I experienced a spiritual awakening)
21 Grams (one of the most intense, thought provoking dramas)
Grosse Pointe Blank (by far the funniest movie, never get tired of seeing it - excellent script)
Bulworth (Hilarious - VERY outspoken - Beatty's best)

During a senatorial debate, he reveals the plans for the National ID card and The North American Union (which involves Canada, U.S. and Mexico - NAFTA Superhighway). It's only 3 minutes long - but you will come away much more aware of what changes this country will be facing.
