WEAR THE OCCASIONAL PYTHON BOOT

About Me

From 1990-1995 I played in a band called SWEETWATER WHOREHOUSE. We were inspired by beer, cigarettes, one night stands (the ones we had AND mainly the ones we wished for), Rock'n'roll attitude (Again we dreamed about having more of it...), AC/DC, DAD, David Lee Roth, Aerosmith etc. etc. We weren't too serious about anything....these songtitles indicate the intellectual level: "Better laid than never", "Coughin' to the Coffin", "Rock'n'roll Soul", "Mean Maggie Machine".... Unfortunately I have no digital recordings of these fine pieces of art, so I hope a coupla pics will do. ....(-:P/--------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------/From 1996-2000 I played in a band called FLiPSiDE with my brother MIKKEL on the drums. The pics and music on this profile are mainly FLiPSiDE. We sounded like the end of grunge and the beginning of britpop. Especially the record "Everything must go" by Manic Street Preachers meant a lot for my songwriting. We recorded 2 demo-CDs: FLIPSIDE (1996) and TALKSHOW (1998). In 1999 we were broadcasted live by a local radio- and tv-station in a show called CLUB ELECTRIC. Songs from that show will also find its way to this profile someday..../------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------/In 2005 I wrote and recorded RÖDE FANE sangen (lyrics co-writer, Lars Möller). A tribute song to my beloved football team, RÖDE FANE (red flag) that rules in the lowest division of danish footie, serie 6. Drums by our Keeper, Henrik P. Bass by our Striker, Rocker. Vocals by Thomas of FLIPSIDE and I take care of the right midfield and loads of very loud guitars. The recording quality is somewhat dodgy, but what the hey....IT'S ONLY ROCK'N'ROLL!! FORZA RÖDE FANE!!! /----------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------/In spring 2006 I wrote a protest song, "Tyg lige paa den" (Again lyrics co-written by Lars Möller). We were protesting against major local cut-downs on the public services such as schools, kindergardens, libraries, youth clubs etc. It was recorded in june 2006, and we played at some big demonstrations. Vocals: Jan Andersen, Bass: Anette Vinther, Guitar: Olav Madsen, Drums, backing vocals: Michael Gyldion, and I played guitar.
