Alright. So now I've had this...space...for a couple weeks, and I guess I'm ready to put something in it and make it more interesting. One of my friends took two or three months to do that. Maybe it's some kind of anxiety that you have to overcome; showing yourself to unknown people..? So maybe now I am a strip-artist...? Well, let's go!!
First off I'd like to tell you that I'm a really nice person. I can also be a really acerbic man. And I am usually pretty sarcastic and arrogant. But I'm working on it or maybe it's too late to change that? It comes with age, I guess. I am not really that old, I made a mistake signing up and now I don't know how to change it...! I'm 40 years old but I'm not too old to get new friends. I was once married, but never again. I have three children, they are really nice and beautiful. I am a musician. I used to play guitar. A lot. I used to play in a band with my good friend Tomas who is now a popstar in Russia. Check him out at myspace.com/nevergreentomas.
But now guitar bores me. A little. Recently I've been playing a lot of drums and bass and percussion and that seems to stimulate my musicality and prevent it from going static. I also know how to program a decent drum-loop or a bass-line, but preferably in Logic on a Mac. I am able to record a decent acoustic guitar as well. I'm hyperactive. Sometimes. I've got many music projects going at once. A disco-pop project, no name yet. A real basic rock'n'roll project called the Stains, which is me doing everything and Leonard Davies on coffee and fags. An electronica project called Anders2000. That's all on my own. Also I'm playing whatever in a group called Kordmann & The Ball of Flames, with Leonard Davies and Mike Lowe, mostly playing Leonard's songs. Check him out at fallenmen.co.uk. Fallen Men is a great rock'n'roll band. I recently played drums with them in Berlin on their German tour. The drummer got sick. Also I really love Brazilian music...On that Berlin trip me and my brother Mads was one day late in catching Cibelle's gig in a joint just round the corner from our hotel. Damn infuriating. But then again, so was missing The King of Bossa Nova, Marcos Valles Berlin gig by 4 days. These guys dont often play Europe, you know? :-(
I am also a DJ. I am quite new to this and am still learning. My key genres are: old school funk'n'soul, new Brazilian stuff, nu-jazz/broken beat. But I can kick a rock set too anytime. And I love drum'n'bass! I once got real friendly and later intimate with a nice young woman on MSN after buying a drum'n'bass record(Fabriclive 13/JMajik) from her on the 'bay.
