ANGUS YOUNG AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Angus Mckinnon Young was born on March 31, 1955, in the town of Glasgow, Scotland. He was a very unenthusiastic student. His only real interest in school was art, which was one of the only ways to express himself. He dropped out of school at the age of 15 and went to work as a printer for a soft porn magazine called Ribald. Although he no longer attended school, his ambitions laid elsewhere, and about a year prior to leaving school, he started practicing almost every night, playing with friends and school dances. Before getting a cheap acoustic of his own from his mother, Angus would fool around with his brother, Malcolm. by the age of eleven, he had taken a small course on how to play, but prefered to teach himself and mostly became the brilliant guitarist he is today with trial and error. While Malcolm was planning out his new band, Angus was spending much time on his appearance and attitude on stage. His wild, in-your-face, and yes....sweaty ways came from this part of his life, such as his infamous duck-walk across the stage. One night, playing in a Sydney bar with Malcolm, the performance was going badly. He walked across the stage and tripped over the guitar lead. He was screaming like all hell and made it look like a death scene. It was the only clap they got all night. Angus Young went on to form AC/DC with Phil Rudd on drums, Malcolm Young on rythm guitar, Cliff Williams on bass guitar, and Bon Scott on vocals, and of course with many changes in the cast, with the death of Bon Scott and other slight changes. But AC/DC went on to become one of the greatest rock and roll bands ever from the release of High Voltage (1973)and '74 Jailbreak to Razor's Edge (1992) and Stiff Upper Lip (2000) and is admired by people of all ages from all around the world.
