In the early 2001, Daniele Incicco (lead vocals, rhythm guitar and piano) met Fabio Giorlando (lead guitar, backing vocals) and together decided to start a band, initially called “Supernovaâ€.
In the meantime, Simone Incicco (bass guitar, backing vocals), the Daniele’s brother, started to play the bass guitar just for being in the band of his brother. At first, the group played music such a various british pop cover band (Oasis, Blur, Travis etc.), just to have fun in the free time.
Step by step the band grew up, the acoustic instrumentation too, and they started to play in some pubs in their small city, San Benedetto de Tronto (Italy).
During the years the band changed the music style and its repertory, from The Who to The Cure, from The Beatles to Embrace, but always with an original interpretation and a particular involvement of the listeners.
In the 2006, after a lot of drummers, Daniele Incicco proposed to the band some songs written by him and with an help form the guitarist Fabio, they finally write "No Thanks", a very important song for them, probably the first unreleased song played by Absolute Beginners (in the meantime, the band changed his name into the actually name “ABSOLUTE BEGINNERSâ€).
With Daniele Pulcini (drums and percussions), as new member of the band, more expert than the past drummers, the musical level increased, the live show too: they started to play over their city and now are one of the most popular rock band in the zone.
In the middle of 2006, the Absolute Beginners included Cristiano Ascolani (saxophone, backing vocals) and Fabio Del Zompo (trumpet) to improve the musical harmony and to test a PopRockSoulFunkyJam sound with the soul of the wind instruments.
So, following this exciting line, Daniele write many songs, and the band, in the end of the 2006, goes to the “Supersuono Studios†(Ascoli Piceno, Italy) to record an Ep, who will be released between March and April.
The Ep will include No Thanks, Another Time Again, You Came to Me, Maybe, Flowers.
