About Me

L.A.M. Productions are proud to announce the release of the debut single by Whitehaven entitled ‘The Memphis Lullaby’.

First there was the book, then the film and now the music...
The song was written and performed by Linda Ann McConnell who published her first book entitled “The Memphis Lullaby” in 2004, a play about the life of Elvis Presley. The book received excellent reviews from all over the world including endorsements from people who knew and worked with Elvis. Then followed her debut short film, adapted from Act 4 of the book, “Elvis, How Great Thou Art, A Portrait of The Artist”. Linda Ann composed the soundtrack to the film and sang on the credits. The Scottish premiere of the film at the Glasgow Film Theatre and subsequent screening at the Gallery of Modern Art, received a standing ovation. The book and film have created immense interest amongst Elvis fans from all over the world. At the premiere people were asking ‘Who is the singer?” In response, the single ‘The Memphis Lullaby,’ was released on Elvis birthday, January 8th 2007, under the bands name - Whitehaven, with its world premiere on Elvis-express radio. (show 141c)
