Come on in, how've you been? It's good to see you

About Me

I grew up on The Wirral Peninsula, the small bit of land that sticks out beneath the famous River Mersey. The youngest of five girls, our house was a crazy mix of fun and and arguments. I left home at 16, I needed the space both physically and in my head.I've always known I wanted to be a singer but it took me a while to gain the confidence. I became professional at the tender age of 23 which is ancient in this game.I've worked hard, sometimes doing four jobs to pay the bills. Whatever money is left gets ploughed into recording and promoting my music. If you're still reading this you're doing well. I'm also an actor but that's a story for another day. Unisong, BBC Radio, Channel 4 and RADA have all given me acknowledgment and awarded me for my achievements in songwriting and performance. A radio presenter recently said "The most promising and outstanding songwriter in the area" That was a quote that made me smile.....welcome to my MySpace page. Come on in and have a poke about. As a solo artist I write and record my own songs. I'm off out into the big wide world with my trusty acoustic guitar for backing. The gigs are coming in and my new album is almost complete, it should be done by the end of the year fingers crossed. My second EP entitled Comforting Words is OUT NOW on iTunes, see the link ...Wow you really are interested aren't you, you're still following? 10 out of 10 for concentration. My first EP of six tracks entitled "I Can Feel It Coming" is available online at iTunes and other good download sites, it's very different to the new material on here. It was a while ago, the new stuff is much nicer. Nice, there's a word I try to avoid using, it's so non-descript. Goals for the future? To be happy, healthy blah blah blah all that obvious stuff PLUS!!!! A number one selling album (for starters) and to make lots of money. It's not too much to ask.
